In our book talk sessions we have been reading the book The Rain Player by David Wisniewski. As part of our lessons we created freeze frames to explore the thoughts and feelings of the main characters Pik and Chac at two different stages within the text.
The children enjoyed discussing the thoughts and feelings of the characters and how we could display these emotions before performing them to the rest of the class.
