Personal Social and Emotional Development

Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Personal, social and emotional development (PSED) supports children to learn to get on with others and make friends, understand and talk about feelings, learn about 'right' and 'wrong', develop independence and ultimately feel good about themselves.

Children's early PSED has a huge impact on their later well-being, learning achievement and economic success too. So to help you support children, we've put together the following activities:

In FS2, we have worked hard to make friends, share and be kind to others. Here are some pictures of us! We have also talked about different feelings such as excited, shocked, angry and happy! We have read stories such as the 'Squirrels who Squabbled.' We talked about how we can be good friends and work together as a team!
